Nomadure is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. We handle it under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, known as POPIA. This page applies to Nomadure only.

What we collect

We collect account details you provide, such as email, display name, and home town when you save one, trip and preference data you save, specialist listing details you submit, contact-form messages, and basic product analytics needed to operate and improve Nomadure.

Location data is used when you allow it in the browser, to show nearby places and advisories. We do not sell personal data.

What arrives when you write to us

The contact form sends us the name, email address, and message you type, so we can reply.

What we do with it

We use account data to run Nomadure for you: sign-in, trips, listings, and related tools. We use a contact-form message to answer that message. We do not sell personal information. We keep it only while we still need it for those purposes.

How the form reaches us

We operate this website and the email that carries the form. Messages pass through that setup so that we can read them.

Payments

Payment details, when live checkout is enabled, are handled by our payment provider. Nomadure does not store full card numbers.

Cookies

Signed-in sessions use cookies so we can keep you signed in as a member or as a specialist.

Public Trending, Popular, and Famous place pages, and public biome pages, may show Google advertisements. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers on those pages. Subscribers do not see those advertisements on Nomadure.

We do not use separate Nomadure analytics cookies on the storefront today. If that changes, we will say so on this page.

Young people

Nomadure is not directed at children. If we can tell that an account or a contact-form message came from someone under 18, we will not keep it.

What you can ask us

Under POPIA you may ask us to:

• say whether we hold personal information about you, and what it is;
• fix or remove personal information that is wrong, incomplete, or no longer needed; or
• stop using your personal information where the law allows that.

Closing an account

Members can delete their account from Account. That removes the account and related personal data we hold. Use the contact form for a copy of your account data or other privacy requests.
